Jerry “Pappy” Tanner, 55, of Nederland passed away on Wednesday, April 1, 2009 at his residence.
Pappy was a native of Fort Worth and lived in Nederland for the last eight months. He was preceded in death by his parents, John and Joyce Tanner. Pappy was a plumber by trade.
Pappy is survived by his daughters, Brandy Farris and husband John of Keller, TX, and Chelise Murty and husband Joey of Bridge City; son, Cody Tanner of Lewisville, TX; grandchildren, Ashton and Conner Farris, Macie, Lexie, and Joey Murty; brothers, Johnny Tanner and Joe Tanner; sister, Jaylene Taylor; step-father, Tex Coleman; and many other family and friends.
Memorial services will be held at a later date in Crowley, Texas.
