Mildred Margaret Butaud Connor, 92, of Beaumont, died Tuesday, March 24, 2009. She was a native of Henry, Louisiana and a resident of Beaumont since 1946. Mildred was an avid volunteer and a member of Texas Senior Citizens, AARP, and St. Pius Ladies.
Survivors include her sons, Kenneth Connor and his wife Jo Ann of Beaumont, Archie J. Connor and his wife Genevieve and Darnell J. Connor and his wife Patricia all of Port Neches; grandchildren, Melissa Richard, Archie Connor, Jr., and J.R. Connor all of Vidor, Arthur J. Connor of Beaumont, Chris Connor of Groves, Tonya Humphries of Nederland, Deborah Ann Myers of Sulphur, Louisiana, Rhonda Faye Robinson of Vinton, Louisiana and Edith Mae Nance of Elko, Nevada; seventeen great grandchildren; sisters, Lola Lange, Beverly Guidry and Marlene Bordages.
Her husband, J.E. Connor; granddaughter, Ciara Richard; and four brothers preceded her in death.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated 10:00 a.m. Friday, March 27, 2009 at St. Pius X Catholic Church with burial to follow at Magnolia Cemetery under the direction of Broussard’s, 1605 North Major Drive, Beaumont. A Rosary will be recited 6:00 p.m. Thursday, March 26, 2009 at Broussard’s.
