Lester Fontenot,Sr.,76, of Elm Grove formerly of Winnie died July 18, 2004.
Funeral services will be 10:00 a.m., Thursday, July 22, 2004 at Broussard’s Mortuary Chapel, 134 W. Buccaneer, Winnie with burial in Fairview Cemetery. A gathering of family and friends will be Wednesday evening from 5:00-8:00pm at the funeral home.
He is survived by wife, Evelyn Fontenot of Elm Grove,La; sons, Glenn Fontenot and wife Ruby of Pearl River ,La; Lester Fontenot, Jr. and wife Frances of Humble,Tx; daughter, Linda Sonnier and husband Rodney of New Iberia,La; step-son, Grover Cornwell and wife Ita of Many, La; step- daughter, Joyce Crawford and husband Milton of Elm Grove, La; nine grandchildren, four great grandchildren, fifteen step grandchildren and eleven step great grandchildren.
