It was not my good fortune to have met or known Rose. It was, however, my good fortune to have been her husband's good friend, as Marine Corps buddies, from WW II. Having lost my wife of 59 years, 3 1/2 years ago, I know how Hardy is feeling. Semper Fi, old friend.
