Mr. Tremont was Uncle Jim to us girls when we were growing up, a good friend to our dad, J. C. and mother Gradys. I was sorry to learn of his passing. Our prayers are with his family.

My heartfelt sympathy goes to all of Jim's family, I was greatly saddened to hear of his passing. Jim was a great production director for The Enterprise, and a better person. His high standards helped those of us around him at the newspaper reach higher heights. And while those of us who worked with Jim have a heavy heart today, the thoughts of how much passion Jim had for our craft, and that twinkle that would come to his his eyes as he'd speak about it, are memories that will always make any day better.
