William D. “Bill” Shaw, 66, of Beaumont, died Saturday, March 14, 2009.
A native of Asheboro, North Carolina and a resident of the area since 1981, he was a retired Staff Sergeant with the United States Air Force.
His parents, Clara Louise Maner Shaw and Elvin Lee; and his first wife, Hannah Nash Shaw preceded him in death.
Bill is survived by his wife, Vicki McCreight Shaw of Beaumont; three sons, John David Shaw and his wife Shanon of Nederland, Robert Dean Shaw and his wife Kena of Sour Lake, and Joshua Rice of Beaumont; daughter, Johnae Whitaker and her husband Reuben of Beaumont; and seven grandchildren, Hannah Shaw, Jeramiah Menou, Mason Shaw, Caitlin Rice, Victoria Rice, Kenay Shaw and K’Bre Shaw.
His funeral service will be 10:00 a.m. Friday, March 20, 2009 at Wesley United Methodist Church with burial to follow at Forest Lawn Memorial Park under the direction of Broussard’s, 1605 North Major Drive, Beaumont. A gathering of his family and friends will be from 5:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. Thursday, March 19, 2009 at Broussard’s.
