Geraldine Davis Thompson, 77, of Conroe, died Tuesday, March 10, 2009, at her residence.
A native of Hemphill, Geraldine moved to Beaumont in 1950, where she worked as a customer service representative for K-Mart. She later moved to Conroe in 2006.
Her husband of 39 years, John T. Davis, of Beaumont, second husband, Charles Thompson of Beaumont, son John Raymond Davis of Beaumont, and her brother, L.C. Jones of Newton, preceded her in death.
Survivors include her son, Mike Davis and his wife Beth of Houston; grandsons, Taylor Davis, Conor Davis, both of Houston, and Kevin Davis, of Beaumont; brother, Lyndon Jones and his wife Frances, of Pineland, and Hubert Jones and his wife Cindy, of Groves; caregiver, Linda Barber; and numerous nieces and nephews.
A Funeral service will be 10:00 a.m., Friday, March 13, 2009, at Broussard’s Chapel, 2000 McFaddin, Beaumont, with burial to follow at Oak Bluff Memorial Park in Port Neches. A gathering of family and friends will be from 7:00 until 9:00 p.m., Thursday, March 12, 2009, at the mortuary.
