Evelyn Shoemaker, 88, of Beaumont, died Monday, March 09, 2009 at Harbor Hospice.
A native of Ganado, Texas and resident of Beaumont for sixty eight years, Evelyn was a retired office worker for Sun Oil.
Her husband, Clinton Duke Shoemaker; parents, Laura and Henry Reue; and brothers, Alfred and Raymond Reue preceded her in death.
Survivors include her son, Clinton D. Shoemaker Jr. and his wife Rosita; granddaughters, Diana L. Shoemaker and Gwen C. Shoemaker; and several nieces and nephews.
Funeral service will be 10:00 a.m. Thursday, March 12, 2009 at Broussard’s, 2000 McFaddin, Beaumont with a graveside service to follow at 4:00 p.m. Thursday afternoon at Resthaven Memorial Park in Jacksonville, Texas. A gathering of family and friends will be from 5:00 until 7:30 p.m. Wednesday, March 11, 2009 at the mortuary.
