Bobby Dean Kerr, Jr., 61, of Baton Rouge, Louisiana died February 27, 2009 at his home. A native of Beaumont, he was a United States Army veteran, having served during Vietnam from February 1, 1969 to January 28, 1970, he was a helicopter mechanic.
Bobby is survived by his daughters, Sherri Shelton and her husband Henry of Prairieville, Louisiana and Brenda Tilcher and her husband Robin of Baton Rouge; grandson, Joshua Tilcher; brothers, Larry Chase Kerr of Etoile, Texas and Kenneth Craig Kerr of Lumberton; and sisters, Jane Ann Miguez of Huntington and Susan Gale Kerr of Beaumont. He was preceded in death by his parents, Bobby Dean Kerr, Sr. and Melba Maurine Chase Kerr.
A memorial service will be 11:00 A.M. Tuesday, March 3, 2009 at Trinity Church in Beaumont with Reverend Rick Edwards officiating. Cremation arrangements under the direction of Broussard’s, 2000 McFaddin, Beaumont.
