This is my Aunt Mary. To be honest, Aunt Mary is my second cousin. She was my Mother’s first cousin and best friend growing up in Marietta, Texas. Aunt Mary was four days older than Mom, and she like to hold that over Mom – that is until they got older. Mom named her first born child after Aunt Mary and Dad. When I was little, before Aunt Mary and Uncle Cally moved to Beaumont, they would spend Christmas evening at our home in Naples. Uncle Cally, Dad and I would shoot off Christmas fireworks. Aunt Mary taught me how to dance. In her later years, she was taken away from those of us who just loved her by people we didn’t know. But we still loved her, anyway.
