Dorothy Lee Hickman, 91, of Port Arthur, passed away Saturday, February 21, 2009 at Christus Hospital St. Elizabeth in Beaumont.
Graveside services will be 2:00 PM Wednesday, February 25, 2009 at Cypress Cemetery in DeRidder, Louisiana under the direction of Broussard’s in Nederland. A gathering of family and friends will be from 5 to 8 PM Tuesday at the mortuary.
Mrs. Hickman was born February 4, 1918 in DeRidder, Louisiana to the late Billie and Lillian Miers, and lived in Port Arthur since 1989. She was a homemaker and a member of Hillcrest Baptist Church in Nederland.
Mrs. Hickman is survived by her daughter, Delores Vaughn of Bedford, and her son, Roy Hickman of Nederland. Also surviving her is her seven grandchildren, eight great grandchildren, and two great-great grandchildren.
