Alberta Mary Rivette, 95, of Beaumont died Saturday, February 21, 2009 at Calder Woods Retirement Home. A native of Sunset, Louisiana, Alberta was a resident of the area for many years.
She is survived by her son, Kerny Rivette and his wife Albertina of The Woodlands; granddaughter, Deborah Carter and her husband Robert of Austin; and great-granddaughter, Bronwyn Carter. She was preceded in death by her husband, O.J. Rivette.
Cremation arrangements are under the direction of Broussard’s 2000 McFaddin, Beaumont. Private burial will be at a later date.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to a charity of your choice.
