Ima Harper McGown, 88, of Beaumont, died Friday, February 20, 2009 at Memorial Hermann Baptist Hospital.
She is survived by her daughter, Gwendolyn Coblentz and her husband Roger of Beaumont; son, Eugene L. McGown and his wife Sarah of Crystal Beach; granddaughter, Sally Lewis and her husband Thomas of Seattle, Washington; brother, Robert Harper of Beaumont; and many loving nieces and nephews. She is preceded in death by her husband Leo McGown.
Graveside services will be 1:00 p.m. Monday, February 23, 2009 at McGown Cemetery near Milam, under the direction of Broussard’s 2000 McFaddin, Beaumont. A gathering of family and friends will be Sunday, February 22, 3009 from 2:00 p.m. until 4:00 p.m. at the mortuary.
