Anna Savoy, 96, of Round Rock Texas, died Wednesday February 18, 2009 at New Hope Manor in Cedar Park, Texas. She was a native of Grand Chanier, Louisiana and a longtime resident of Beaumont.
Her husband, Ed Savoy, Jr.; and son, Virgil R. Savoy preceded her in death.
Survivors include her brother, Adam LaBove of Winnie; sister, Laverna Bruce of Lumberton; daughter-in-law, Dorothy Savoy Benoit and her husband Larry Benoit of Round Rock; grandsons, Michael Savoy and his wife Sara of Round Rock, Christopher Savoy of Los Angeles, California, Benjamin Savoy and his wife Melissa of Dallas and Patrick Savoy and his wife Katie of Phoenix, Arizona; great grandsons, Jeremy Savoy and Spencer Savoy both of Round Rock; nieces, Charlene Gutierrez, Linda Gray and Verna Jo Nunez; and nephew, A.J. LaBove of Winnie.
Her funeral service will be 11:00 a.m. Monday, February 23, 2009 at Broussard’s, 1605 North Major Drive, Beaumont with burial to follow at Forest Lawn Memorial Park. A gathering of her family and friends will begin at 10:00 a.m. Monday morning prior to the service at Broussard’s.
