Today is Mother's Day Bubba. It won't be the same but I will try to fill my heart with beautiful memories instead of sorrow. Thank you for being the son that you are and will always be to me. I love you.

Anda,
Look how long it took me to get around to signing your book. Typical, right?
I'm so sorry that I didn't go with you. I always griped about having to ride with you to do something. I would complain and say that you are a grown man and do not need me just to ride to the store and get something. Every time I ended up going with you to the store. I should have been there this time, just like you asked. Maybe I could have done something like get the car off the road.
Things keep going through my head. Like, what was your last thought? Did you know it was coming? Did it hurt? What was your last word? What was the song playing on the radio? This is endless. It's endless, and I wonder now what am I supposed to do? You can't have just peanut butter without the jelly. You can't have the peas without the carrots.
Andy, you were always the most gentle person to me, and you always were the one to uncomplicate my life with a few simple words. I'd pretty frequently present my current situation to you, and you'd say something like, "Okay. Now see, this is what you do..." I would really love for that right now. I think that would be awesome. So how bout it, huh? Just give me one of those colorful phrases that you sling around like nothing. I just don't know if I can handle nothing at all.
I love you, Andy. I promise that I will keep what faith I have strong so that I can see you again.
You be good to Precious, Wrinkles, T-Met 1 and 2, and Shiv. They all loved you.
Make sure you start ironing out my record with the big guy, k?

I won't forget you. I promise.
