Norwood “Pete” Boudreaux, 93 of Port Neches, passed away on Wednesday, February 4, 2009 at Evangeline Extended Care in Mamou, Louisiana.
Funeral service will be 1:00 PM, Saturday, February 7, 2009 at Broussard’s in Nederland with Rev. Sinclair Oubre officiating, with interment to follow at Oak Bluff Memorial Park in Port Neches. A gathering of family and friends will be 5:00-8:00 PM, Friday with a rosary to be recited at 6 PM the mortuary.
Mr. Boudreaux was a native of Prairie Ronde, Louisiana and has lived most of his life in Port Neches. He retired from Port Neches I.S.D. as head of the Maintenance Department, and was a member of St. Elizabeth Catholic Church in Port Neches.
Mr. Boudreaux was preceded in death by her wife Lorena Boudreaux and his son Louis Boudreaux. He is survived by his four sisters, Helen Venable of Churchpoint, Louisiana, Willie Mae LaFleur of Prairie Ronde, Louisiana, Elaine Joubert of Lawtell, Louisiana, Rose Joubert of Lawtell, Louisiana; one grandson, David Boudreaux; one great grandchild and a host of nieces and nephews.
