Helen B. DeLatte, 83, of Beaumont, died Wednesday, February 4, 2009. She was a bookkeeper for the accounting department of Gulf States Utilities for many years, and was a retired assistant manager of Town Oak apartments. She was also a member of St. Jude Thaddeus Catholic Church, Beaumont.
She is survived by her husband, Charles J. DeLatte of Beaumont; brother, Jim DeLatte of Tampa, Florida; sister-in-law, Dorothy DeLatte of Beaumont; aunt, Lenora DeLatte of Beaumont; numerous loving family members and friends. She was preceded in death by her parents, Walter and Seva Landry Blanchette.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be 2:00 p.m. Saturday, February 7, 2009 at St. Jude Thaddeus Catholic Church, Beaumont with burial to follow at Magnolia Cemetery under the direction of Broussard’s, 2000 McFaddin, Beaumont. A gathering of family and friends will be Friday, February 6, 2009 from 5:00 p.m. until 7:00 p.m. with a rosary recited at 7:00 p.m. at the mortuary.
