Jerry Ray Johnson, Sr. 67, of Warren, died Wednesday, February 4, 2009 at Christus Hospital St. Elizabeth. Born on October 6, 1941 in Lufkin, Jerry has been a resident of Warren since 2005. He was a retired Beaumont Firefighter.
He is survived by son, Jerry Ray Johnson, Jr. and his wife Michelle of Lumberton; daughter, Julie Ann Moore and her husband Mike of Nederland; granddaughter, Kayla McKenzie Johnson of Lumberton; sister, Sybil Ward of Mauriceville; brother, Allen Davis of Beaumont. He was preceded in death by his mother, Lorena Davis.
Funeral service will be 11:00 a.m. Saturday, February 7, 2009 at Broussard’s, 2000 McFaddin, Beaumont, graveside service will follow at 3:00 p.m. Kitchen. Cemetery, Zavalla, Texas A gathering of family and friends will be Saturday, February 7, 2009 from 9:30 a.m. until 11:00 a.m. at the mortuary.
