Florence E. Doiron, 82, of Vidor, died Wednesday, February 4, 2009 at Christus Hospital St. Elizabeth.
A native of Abbeville, Louisiana and resident of Vidor most of her life, Florence was a retired store clerk with Perry Brothers in Vidor. She lived for her family and enjoyed sewing, cooking, fishing and camping.
Her husbands, Joseph C. Doiron and Gilbert Doiron; brother, Milton Lee; and sister, Melba Brown preceded her in death.
Survivors include her daughters, L’Vonda Floyd and Dolores Waters and her husband B.B. all of Vidor; stepson, Kim Doiron; grandchildren, Melissa Pinckard, James Stone, Joe LeBlanc, Trudie Ward, Brandi Gotreaux, Walter Waters and Seth Waters; six great grandchildren; one great great grandchild; sister, Ada Ruby Gray and Velma Johnson; and brother-in-law, Dan Doiron.
Her funeral service will be 10:00 a.m. Saturday, February 7, 2009 at Broussard’s, 1605 North Major Drive, Beaumont with burial to follow at Forest Lawn Memorial Park. A gathering of her family and friends will be from 6:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. Friday, February 6, 2009 at the Mortuary.
