Robert Boneaux, 87, of Groves passed away on Saturday, January 31, 2009 at Gulf Health Care in Groves.
Family services will be held at a later date.
Robert was a native of Rayne, Louisiana and live most of his life in Nederland. He retired from Texaco as a gang pusher in the Structure Steel Department in 1983. He loved raising his beagle dogs, hunting fishing, camping and playing cards. He was preceded in death by his wife, Mildred Boneaux, daughter-in-law, Carolyn Boneaux; parents, Rene and Edmae Boneau Sr. and a brother, Rene Boneau Jr.
Robert is survived by his daughter Debra Klock and husband James of Nederland; sons, Raymond Boneaux and wife Gloria of Groves, Curtis Boneaux and Anne Ulan of Vidor; granddaughter, Brandi Vandiver and husband Pi of Nederland, grandson, Curt Boneaux of Nederland, granddaughter, Natasha Klock of Phoenix, Arizona, granddaughter, Brittany Klock of Nederland, grandson, James Klock Jr. of Waterloo NY; great-granddaughter, Gillean Vandiver of Nederland, great-granddaughter, Veronica Diaz of Savona, NY; sisters, Rita Hankel and husband Bernard of Baton Rouge, Louisiana, Enix Domingue and husband Curley of Duson, Louisiana; several nieces and nephews.
