Jimmie Dean “Jim” McGouldrick, 67 of Nederland passed away at his residence, Wednesday, January 21, 2009, after a short battle with cancer.
A private service will be held at a later date. Final arrangements are through Broussard’s in Nederland.
Jim retired after 20 years with the United States Air Force and 20 years with the Jefferson County Sheriffs Department.
After an active working life, Jim enjoyed his retirement by fishing, reading, computers and loved watching movies.
He is survived by his loving wife, Maggie McGouldrick of Nederland, Texas; mother, Geraldine Williams of Nederland, Texas; daughters, Theresa Lee and husband Larry of Nederland, Texas, Shawna McInnis and husband Mike of Sulphur, Louisiana, Joanna Broussard and husband Louis of Texas City, Texas; 11 grandchildren and 8 great grandchildren as well as his dearest friend John McIntosh.
