Mary Blanche Ducote, 84, of Nederland passed away Friday, January 9, 2009 at Oak Grove Nursing Home in Groves.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be 10:00 AM Tuesday, January 13, 2009 at St. Charles Borromeo Catholic Church in Nederland with Rev. Dan Malain officiating. Interment will follow at Memory Gardens Cemetery in Nederland under the direction of Broussard’s in Nederland. A gathering of family and friends will be from 5 to 8 PM Monday with a scriptural rosary to be recited at 7 PM at the mortuary.
Mrs. Ducote was a native of Vinton, Louisiana and lived in Nederland since 1957. She was a homemaker and a member of St. Charles Borromeo Catholic Church in Nederland where she served as the past president of the Alter Society.
Mrs. Ducote is survived by her husband, Stanley Ducote of Nederland; her son, Ronald Lloyd Ducote and wife Claire of Nederland; her sister, Eunice Granger of Sulphur, Louisiana; also five grandchildren, and five great grandchildren.
