MY deepest sympathy goes out to Judy, Chris and Deedra and the rest of the family. George was a special man and a special friend. I am proud to have served with him for 30 years. May God bless you and guide you during this time of loss. I am so glad that I had a nice talk with George while he was at the lake, he was such an encouragement to me even though he was suffering so himself.

I have known "Chief" for a long time, well ever since he was a Captain on the midnight shift at Beaumont P.D. I have always enjoyed talking with him and always loved listening to his "war" stories. I would sit at Dunkin Donuts with him, Woodsmall, Singletary, and Alwin Barrow when I was a kid riding along and just listen in amazement at what they all had to say about being a cop back in the day. Now those times are considered back in the day to me. I have always enjoyed being in Chief's company. He is a part of the reason that I work as a cop today. I wish the family well and may the Lord continue to be with you all.
