Joseph Albert “Joe” Debes, 69, of Beaumont, passed away on Thursday, January 8, 2009.
Joseph was a native and lifelong resident of Beaumont and was retired from Debes Printing Company. He was an avid reader and historian.
His father, Albert Debes; uncles, Thomas Debes, Bill Debes, Robert Marshall and Clarence Marshall; and his aunt, Lorene Byland preceded him in death.
He is survived by his mother, Evelyn Debes; brother, Paul Debes; aunt, Doris Bardwell and her husband Gerald all of Beaumont; numerous cousins and other loving family members.
Funeral services will be 3:00 p.m. Sunday, January 11, 2009 at Broussard’s, 2000 McFaddin, Beaumont with burial to follow at Magnolia Cemetery. A gathering of family and friends will be Saturday, January 10, 2009 from 12:00 p.m. until 4:00 p.m. at the mortuary.
