Marie Constance Carroll, 79, of Beaumont died Tuesday, April 27, 2004 at her residence.
Funeral services will be 10:00 a.m. Friday, April 30, at Broussard’s, 2000 McFaddin, Beaumont. Graveside services will be 2:30 PM at Houston National Cemetery. A gathering of family and friends will be from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. Thursday, April 29, 2004 at the mortuary.
A native of Lowell, Massachusetts, Marie was a longtime resident of
Beaumont and a member of the Women’s Army Corps during World War II.
She is survived by her husband, John Eugene Carroll of Beaumont; son, Johnny Carroll and his wife, Carol of Piper City, Illinois; daughters, Marjorie Denny and her husband, Larry of Bellwood, Nebraska, Mertice Garrett and her husband, Edgar of Swansea, Illinois and Melanie Sanford and her husband, Billy of Beaumont; sisters, Cecile Hansberg, Gloria Schiller and Delores Andrews, all of Massachusetts; ten grandchildren; and eleven great-grandchildren.
