Daniel Erickson, 82, of Beaumont, died December 30, 2008 at Harbor Hospice in Beaumont. He was a World War II veteran of the United States Army and worked as a Federal Communications Officer for the United States Border Patrol.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Novis Ola Wilson. He is survived by daughters, Rebecca Diane Erickson and Clara Lee Erickson of Honolulu, Hawaii; son, Dan Erickson of Crystal Beach; brothers, Walter Erickson and wife Ethel of Beaumont, and Charles Erickson and wife Dale of Dallas; sister, Margaret Bean and husband Lee Russel (deceased) of Beaumont; grandchildren, Shannon Lynette Erickson, Sarah Diane Erickson, Rhiannon St. Vincent, Kessel Robinson Crockett, Calder Brezina, Erin Hendershot, Nicholas Hopkins, and Jessica Daniel Erickson; and twelve great-grandchildren.
Funeral service will be 2:00 p.m., Saturday, January 3, 2009, at Broussard’s, 2000 McFaddin, with burial to follow at Magnolia Cemetery in Beaumont. A gathering of family and friends will be 6:00-9:00 p.m., Friday, January 2, at the Mortuary.
