Ivy Juanita “Teano” Dacus, 90, of Lufkin, formerly of Silsbee, died Monday, December 29, 2008 in Lufkin.
She is survived by her husband, Foy Dacus of Lufkin; daughter, Marie Dear of Lufkin; grandchildren, Doby Dear and Christi Hurley both of Lufkin; great grandchildren, Reagan Hurley, Sydney Hurley, and Kevin Hurley, Jr. all of Lufkin; sister, Geneva Kirkland of Silsbee; brothers, Harold Breaux of Beaumont and Charles Breaux of Silsbee; and numerous nieces and nephews.
Ivy is preceded in death by her parents, Oliver and Gladys Breaux; brother, Carroll Breaux; and sister, Allie Lee Burden.
Funeral service will be 10:00 A.M. Thursday, January 1, 2009 at Broussard’s, 490 Cemetery Road, Silsbee with burial to follow at Resthaven Cemetery in Silsbee. A gathering of family and friends will be Wednesday, December 31, 2008 from 6:00 P.M. until 8:00 P.M. at the mortuary.
