Delores Marie Gallier, 64, of Hamshire, died December 19, 2008 after a short battle with cancer.
A native of Abbevile, Louisiana, Delores moved to Texas in 1953. She was a wonderful mother, grandmother, sister and aunt and will be greatly missed by all her loved ones.
Delores was preceded in death by her husband, Melvin Gallier; father, Alpha Bertrand; and brother, Lyman Bertrand. Survivors include her sons, Tom Gallier of Giddings, William Gallier of Hamshire, and Ernest Gallier of Nederland; daughter, Peggy Mouton of Georgetown; mother, Olite Bertrand; brothers, Donald Bertrand and Ferrill Bertrand; sisters, Deanna Leblanc, Judy Freeman, Peggy Meche, Cheryl Granger, Debbie Freeman and Ann Bertrand; and grandchildren, Jennifer, Brittanni, and Heather Gallier, Chance and Lorrin Gallier, Matthew Travis, Brixie Gallier, and Layne, Rebecca and Kristine Mouton.
Graveside services will be 11:00 a.m. Monday, December 22, 2008 at Oak Bluff Memorial Park in Port Neches under the direction of Broussard’s, 134 W Buccaneer, Winnie. A gathering of family and friends will be Sunday, December 21, 2008 from 5:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. at the mortuary.
