Frances Henslee, 90, of Nederland passed away on Friday, December 19, 2008 at Gulf Health Care in Port Arthur.
Funeral service will be held at 2:00 pm on Monday, December 22, 2008 in the chapel of Broussard’s in Nederland with Reverend Dan Malain officiating. Interment will follow in Forest Lawn Memorial Park in Beaumont. A gathering of family and friends will be from 5:00 to 8:00 pm on Sunday, December 21, 2008 at the mortuary.
Frances was a native of Dallas and lived in Beaumont for 55 years before moving to Nederland in 1993. She was a member of St. Charles Borromeo Catholic Church of Nederland. She was preceded in death by her husband of 60 years, Lee Stuart Henslee and her daughter, Alice Marie Spence.
Mrs. Henslee is survived by her son, Don Henslee and wife Jo Ann of Nederland; sister, Rosalie Stephens and husband Steve of Allen, Tx.; grandchildren, Chad Henslee and wife Melanie, Stacy George, Jennifer Tyler and husband Adam, D’anne Patton and husband Blake, Susan Clarke and husband Dale, Dale Spence Jr. and wife Andrea; fourteen great grandchildren, Tanner, Hayden, Hannah, Alec, Jenna, Nathan, Brenna, Steven, Allison, Stephanie, Kendall, Kirby, Hunter, and Houston and many family and friends.
