Lacey Danielle Johnson, 19, of Nederland, died Saturday, December 13, 2008 in Nederland.
Funeral service is scheduled for 2:00 pm Thursday, December 18, 2008 in the chapel of Broussard’s in Nederland. Interment will follow in Oak Bluff Memorial Park in Port Neches. A gathering of family and friends will be from 5: 00 to 8:00 pm Wednesday, December 17, 2008 at the mortuary.
Lacey was a native and lifetime resident of the Nederland area. She was a 2006 graduate of Nederland High School and currently enrolled at Lamar University. She previously attended Texas Lutheran University in Seguin. Lacey was assistant manager at Fontainebleau Property Management and will be remembered as a girl who loved her friends, her camouflage, her country music, the finer things in life and living each day to the fullest. Her greatest love of all was her Pa-Pa, Gary Neibergall. She loved all the outdoors including hunting, fishing and 4 wheeling.
Lacey is survived by her mother and step-father, Sindy and Joe Flores of Nederland; brothers, Stephen Marcantel of Nederland, Kody Hargraves of St. Petersburg, Florida and Joseph Johnson of Warren; sister, Jada Johnson of Beaumont; step brother, David Flores of Austin and step sister Karen Burnett of San Antonio; Pa-Pa, Gary Niebergall of Nederland; grandmothers, Betty Hatfield of Nederland and Clara Flores of Beaumont; uncles and aunts, Larry and Cynthia Johnson of Beaumont, Wayne and Leah McKee of Groves and John and Virginia McCarty of Silsbee; uncles, Mack McPhatter of Nederland, Jesse and Rupert Flores of Beaumont and aunt Theresa Flores of Beaumont. Lacey is also survived by her beloved friends Heath Daws, Terry Veitch and Marcus James and a host of other relatives and friends. She was preceded in death by her father, Danny Johnson, Ma-Ma, Doris Neibergall and her aunt, Peggy Johnson.
