Jeanie Strahan, 68, of Beaumont died Sunday, December 14, 2008 at Harbor Hospice in Beaumont. She was a native of Sylacauga, Alabama and a resident of Beaumont since 1961.
Survivors include her loving husband of fifty-one years, Gene Strahan of Beaumont; sons, Gary Strahan and his wife Jill of Beaumont, Scotty Strahan and his wife Kathryn of Austin and Michael Strahan and his wife Shannon of Beaumont; grandchildren, Ben, Jenny, Joe, David, Zach, Cooper, Dylan and Wyatt; great granddaughter, Phoebe; brother, Richard Isbell of Red Oak; sisters, Carolyn Cox of Ethyl and Gayle Floyd of Lumberton; and several nieces and nephews.
Funeral service will be 10:00 a.m. Tuesday, December 16, 2008 at Broussard’s, 1605 North Major Drive, Beaumont. A graveside service will be 3:00 p.m. Tuesday afternoon at Old Salem Cemetery in San Augustine. A gathering of family and friends will be from 5:00 p.m. until 7:00 p.m. Monday, December 15, 2008 at the Mortuary.
