John R. Jones, Sr. — In Loving Memory

John R. Jones, Sr., 61, of Beaumont, died Thursday, December 10, 2008 at Harbor Hospice in Beaumont.

A native of Pineland and longtime resident of Beaumont, John was a truck driver. He was a United States Navy veteran.

Survivors include his loving wife, Elma Jones; son, John R. Jones, Jr. and his wife Elizabeth; granddaughter, Madison Leigh Jones all of Beaumont; numerous other loving family members and friends; and his beloved pet, Rocky.

Funeral service will be 10:00 a.m. Saturday, December 13, 2008 at Broussard’s, 1605 North Major Drive, Beaumont with burial to follow at Magnolia Cemetery. A gathering of family and friends will be from 5:00 p.m. until 7:00 p.m. Friday, December 12, 2008 at the Mortuary.
