Edward E. Rousset, 68, passed away on December 10, 2008. A memorial service will be held at 2:00 p.m. Tuesday, December 16, 2008 at St. Stephen’s Episcopal Church in Beaumont.
Edd was a loving husband, Dad, and Granddad, and will be greatly missed by all who knew and loved him. He is survived by his wife of thirty years, La Jean Rousset, of Beaumont; four children, Steve Rousset of Beaumont, Jennifer Westbrook of Kinnard, Scott Reed and wife, Mary of Orange and Thomas Reed of Allen. Grandchildren include Lauren and Stephen Rousset of Beaumont, Miranda Rousset of Abilene, and Alec Rousset of Houston, Coy and Savannah Westbrook of Kinnard, and Brendon Reed of Allen.
He was a graduate of the University of Texas, in Austin, and remained a devoted fan.
He spent most of his professional career in television sales and management in Abilene, and Beaumont, Texas. He also worked in television markets in California and Missouri.
