Gloria Poindexter, 82, of Tucson, Arizona and formerly of Beaumont, died December 7, 2008. She was a native of Brookhaven, Mississippi and a retired secretary.
She was preceded in death by her husband, William “Bill” Poindexter; and daughter, Gloria Babin. She is survived by her son, Lynn Poindexter and wife Beth of Tucson, Arizona; grandchildren, Garrett Poindexter, Michael Poindexter, and Dylan Poindexter, all of Tucson, Brian Babin and Cheryl Lane of Corpus Christi; great-grandchildren, Madison Lane, Jarrett Lane and Autumn Rodriguez, all of Corpus Christi; and sister, Sherrie Johnson and husband Dub of Deer Park.
Funeral service will be 11:00 a.m., Saturday, December 13, 2008 at Broussard’s, 2000 McFaddin, with burial to follow at Forest Lawn Memorial Park. A gathering of family and friends will be 5:00-7:00 p.m., Friday, December 12, 2008 at the Mortuary.
