Noel Dennis “N.D.” Broussard, 94, of Port Acres passed away on Friday, December 5, 2008.
A Funeral Mass will be celebrated at 10:00 A.M. Tuesday, December 9, 2008 at St. Therese the Little Flower of Jesus Catholic Church with Reverend Rejimon E. George C.M.I. celebrating under the direction of Broussard’s in Nederland. Interment will follow in Greenlawn Memorial Park in Groves. A gathering of family and friends will be from 5:00 to 8:00 PM on Monday at the mortuary. A rosary will begin at 7:00P.M.
N.D. was a native of Lafayette Parish and lived in Port Acres since 1945. He was a member of St. Therese, and retired after 34 years of service from Gulf as a carpenter. N.D. was preceded in death by his wife, Violet Broussard.
N.D. is survived by his daughter, Diana Demahy and husband R. J. of LaBelle; grandchildren, Tammy LeBlanc and husband Martin of Fannett, Rod Demahy of Lake Jackson; great grandson, Matthew LeBlanc; sisters, Loula Hubbard of Carlsbad, CA., Eljie Simpton of Port Bolivar, TX; brother, Aaron Broussard and wife Rena of Plano, TX, and many family and friends.
