Oma Jo Simmons, 81, of Lumberton died December 2, 2008 at Christus Hospital St. Elizabeth. She was a native of Rayne, Louisiana and had been a resident of the Lafayette area for many years.
Survivors include her daughter, Jo Anna Moreau and husband K.P. of Lumberton; grandchildren, Allison Ayres and husband Scott of Beaumont, Aimee Kypreos and husband Niko of San Antonio; great grandchildren, Daniel Ayres, Lauren Ayres and Christina Kypreos; and many other loving family members.
Funeral service will be 2:00 p.m. Friday, December 5, 2008 at Broussard’s, 1605 N Major Drive, Beaumont followed by burial at Forest Lawn Cemetery. A gathering of family and friends will be on Friday from 1:00 p.m. until time of service at the mortuary.
