Jackie Branch, 19, of Nederland, died Monday, December 2, 2008 at Christus St. Elizabeth Hospital in Beaumont.
Funeral service will be 11 am Friday, December 5, 2008 at First United Methodist Church in Nederland with Rev. Malcolm Monroe officiating. A gathering of family and friends will be from 5 to 7 pm, Thursday, December 4, 2008 at Broussard’s in Nederland and again from 10 am until time of service Friday, December 5, 2008 at the church. Graveside service will be 10 am Saturday, December 6, 2008 at Hickory Grove Cemetery in Laurel, Mississippi under the direction of Broussard’s in Nederland.
Jackie was a lifetime resident of the Nederland area and will be remembered as a selfless, people oriented person who was very musically inclined. She enjoyed writing music and played and sang in the Praise Band at First United Methodist Church in Nederland. She also had an interest in culinary arts and was planning on pursuing a career as a chef.
Jackie is survived by her parents, Henry and Yvonne Branch of Nederland; brothers, Curtis Branch and wife Jessi of Nederland, Wylie Branch and wife Angela of Fort Worth and Jacob Branch of West Virginia; niece, Sarah Branch of Fort Worth and a host of other relatives and friends.
