Betty Gregoire’ Williams, 82, of Nederland passed away on Thursday, November 27, 2008 at Gulf Health Care in Port Arthur.
Funeral Mass will be celebrated at 10:00 am on Monday, December 1, 2008 at St. Theresa the Little Flower of Jesus Church in Port Acres with Reverend Rejimon E. George C.M.I. celebrating under the direction of Broussard’s in Nederland. Rite of Committal will follow in Greenlawn Memorial Park in Groves. A gathering of family and friends will be from 4:00 to 8:00 PM Sunday at the mortuary with a Rosary at 5:00PM.
Mrs. Williams was a native of Buffalo, New York and lived in Port Arthur since 1956. She was retired from Christus St. Mary Hospital in Port Arthur. She was an artist, singer, and an actress. Betty was a member of St. Theresa the Little Flower of Jesus Church in Port Acres. Mrs. Williams was preceded in death by her son, Russell Williams.
Mrs. Williams is survived by her husband, David Williams; daughters, Kathleen Williams of Nederland, Patricia Williams of Port Arthur; sons, Steven Williams and wife Donna of Bridge City, Dan Williams and wife Diana of Corsicana, TX, Ed Williams of Waxahachie, TX; 13 grandchildren, 10 great-grandchildren; brother, Tom Gregoire’ of AZ; and many other family and friends.
