Gloria Mae Adams, 87, of Port Acres died Wednesday, November 26, 2008 at the Beaumont Nursing and Rehabilitation Center in Beaumont.
Funeral service will be 10:00 AM Saturday, November 29, 2008 at Broussard’s in Nederland with Rev. Anton Smikal officiating. Interment will follow at Memory Gardens of Texas Cemetery in Nederland. A gathering of family and friends will be from 5 to 8 PM Friday at the mortuary.
Mrs. Adams was born June 17, 1921, in Port Arthur, to Sidney and Josephine Adams and lived all her life in Port Acres. She was a beautician in her home for several years and a member of the Port Acres United Pentecostal Church.
Mrs. Adams is survived her three children, Josephine, Billy Mack, and Jimmy Honnell all of Arkansas, also her sister, Shirley Broussard and her husband Chester of Port Acres. Mrs. Adams is also survived by serveral neices and nephews.
