Mrs. Billie Hardwick, 89, of Port Arthur died Thursday, November 20, 2008 at Cypress Glen Nursing facility in Port Arthur.
A Celebration of Life will be held for Billie and her daughter Patricia Ratcliff, at 3 pm Saturday, December 27, 2008 at First Christian Church 5856 9th Ave. in Port Arthur. A gathering of family and friends will begin at 2:30 pm until time of service.
A native of Beaumont, Mrs. Hardwick was a bookkeeper for many years and retired from Ethel M. Chocolates. She was a member of Groves-Port Arthur Chapter Order of the Eastern Star and was also a Pink Lady at Christus St. Mary Hospital in Port Arthur.
Billie is survived by her son, Bill Vincent and his wife Linda of Houma, Louisiana; daughter, Joe-Net Hargraves and her husband Jim of Port Arthur; 5 grandchildren, 6 great-grandchildren and 3 great-great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husbands, Joseph Caudle and Gil Hardwick, her daughter Patricia Ratcliff and her granddaughter Lorna Ratcliff.
