Nathan Rountree, 24 of Nederland passed away on November 5, 2008 at his residence in Bryan-College Station.
Funeral service will be 2:00 PM, Saturday, November 8, 2008 at Fellowship Baptist Church in Nederland with Dr. Steve Hays, Rev. Joe Roberts and Rev. Frank Hodges officiating. Interment will follow at Memory Gardens Cemetery in Nederland under the direction of Broussard’s in Nederland. A gathering of family and friends will be 5:00-8:00 PM Friday, November 7, 2008 at the mortuary.
Nathan was a native and lifelong resident of Nederland. He was an Eagle Scout in Troop 53, graduated from Nederland High School in 2002, and was serving his under graduate and post graduate work at Texas A&M. He was a member of Fellowship Baptist Church in Nederland.
He is survived by his parents, Bill and Mona Rountree of Nederland; sister, Jessica Daughtry and husband Brandon of Kountze; grandparents, Clinton and Lynette Graham of Nederland; aunts and uncles, Dale and Wayda Quinn of Nederland, Michael and Mandy Graham of Beaumont, Nettie and Rodney Harvey of Kirbyville, Betty and Dudley McCabe of Vidor, Mary Crawford of Kountze, John and David Rountree of Kountze, Nancy and Simon O’Quin of Silsbee, Barbara and Bobby Patrick of Kountze and Margaret Langston of Silsbee. He is also survived by his girlfriend Kathy Eheman and her son Hunter; cousins, Howard and Debbie Maxwell of Beaumont; great aunt Johneese and Layton Wilson of Kentucky and numerous other family and friends.
