Jo Ann Vance Sturdivant, 80 of Nederland, passed away on Wednesday, October 29, 2008 at Dubuis Hospital in Beaumont.
Funeral services will be 3:00 PM, Saturday, November 1, 2008 at Broussard’s Mortuary in Nederland. Interment will follow at Memory Gardens Cemetery in Nederland. A gathering of family and friends will be Saturday from 2:00pm until service time at the mortuary.
Mrs. Sturdivant was a native of Beaumont and has lived in Nederland since 1974. She was preceded in death by her husband Gerstle Spikes Sturdivant.
Mrs. Sturdivant is survived by her two daughters, Lydia Duncan of Silsbee, Sharon Sturdivant of Nederland; son, Spikes Sturdivant and wife Missy of Groves; five grandchildren, Keith Duncan and Melissa Justice, Summer Fasulo and husband Ricky, Brian Buckalew, Hannah Sturdivant, Abbey Gayle Sturdivant; and many family and friends.
