Martha M. Ray, 85, of Silsbee died Saturday, October 25, 2008 at Silsbee Oaks Health Care in Silsbee.
Martha was a longtime resident of Devil’s Pocket before moving to Buna several years ago. She was a homemaker and a member of Buna United Pentecostal Church.
She is survived her daughters, Mary Jane Perry and husband John of Goldthwaite, Texas, Carolyn Hardin and husband the late Leonard “Buster” of Buna, and Jimmie Moses and husband Bobby of Buna; grandchildren, Donna LaFosse, John Perry, Jr., James Hardin, Jana Curtis, and Rockie Cofty; eleven great-grandchildren; and one great-great-grandchild.
Martha is preceded in death by her husband of forty-eight years, James Joshua Ray; and a grandson, Michael Lynn Perry.

Funeral service will be 11:00 A.M. Wednesday, October 29, 2008 at Buna United Pentecostal Church, 116 CR 833, Buna, under the direction of Broussard’s, 490 Cemetery Road, Silsbee, with burial to follow at Suddeth Bluff Cemetery in Buna. A gathering of family and friends will be Tuesday, October 28, 2008 from 6:00 P.M. until 9:00 P.M. at the church.
