Ola Mae Hamilton, 93, of Beaumont died Wednesday, March 10, 2004 at Memorial Hermann Baptist Hospital.
Funeral services will be 2:00 p.m. Saturday, March 13, at First Baptist Church in Poynor, Texas under the direction of Broussard’s, 2000 McFaddin, Beaumont with burial to follow at Poynor Community Cemetery. A gathering of family and friends will be from 5:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. Friday evening, March 12, at the mortuary.
A native of Poynor, she lived in the Beaumont area for most of her life and was a retired school teacher for the Vidor and Beaumont Independent School Districts.
She was preceded in death by her husband, William E. Hamilton.
She is survived by her brother, W. T. Thrasher of Grandbury; numerous nieces and nephews; special friends and caregivers, Louise Kenner and Iris Cole.
