Robert H. “Sonny” Bradberry, 71, of Nederland died Sunday, October 19, 2008 at his residence in Nederland.
Funeral services will be 11:00 AM Wednesday, October 22, 2008 at Broussard’s in Nederland with Rev. Kevin Otto officiating. Interment will follow at Oak Bluff Memorial Park in Port Neches. A gathering of family and friends will be from 5 to 8 PM Tuesday at the mortuary.
Mr. Bradberry was a native of Shelbyville and lived in Nederland since 1957. He retired from Texaco Research in Port Arthur as a supervisor with 35 years of service. He was also a member of the Wesley United Methodist Church in Nederland.
Mr. Bradberry was preceded in death by his wife, Marion, and his grandson, James Hulon Bradberry. He is survived by his daughter, Rachael Mann and husband Allen of Port Neches; his son, Joel Miles Bradberry and wife June of Nederland; sisters, Helen Stock and husband Colby of Nederland, and Sue Kimbrough and husband Calvin of Shelbyville; his brother, Larry Bradberry and wife Christy of Orange; three grandchildren, Elissa Bradberry, Allison Mann, and Ashlee Mann.
