Beulah "Boob" Benton Belile Benoit, 91, of China, died Saturday, October 18, 2008. She was a native of Niblets Bluff, Louisiana and resident of the China area since 1944.
Beulah enjoyed many hobbies such as artwork, gardening, playing cards, taking care of her flowers and most of all making memories like no other. She loved spending time with her family, especially her grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
Survivors include her sons and daughters-in-law; Richard Benoit and Patsy of China, Larry Benoit and Dorothy of Round Rock and Ronnie Benoit and Judi of China; grandchildren, Debbie Mobley and Richard, Becky Broussard and Gene, Ricky Benoit and Suzanne, Becky Ames and Rodney, Beth Benoit, Pam Efferson, Mike Savoy and Sara, Chris Savoy, Ben Savoy and Melissa, Patrick Savoy and Katy, Carol Joy Albrecht and Mike and Chuck Benoit and Theresa; great-grandchildren, Kyle Broussard, Cade Broussard, Maddie Broussard, Alisa Broussard, Hanna Broussard, Trey Benoit, Kaiden Benoit, Laura Leigh Clifton, Anna Clifton, William Benoit and Emma Grace Benoit; and dear friend, Ladelle Benoit.
Her husband of sixty-one years, Lawrence Benoit preceded her in death in 1995.
Her funeral service will be 2:00 p.m. Tuesday, October 21, 2008 at Broussard’s, 1605 North Major Drive, Beaumont. Burial will follow at Forest Lawn Memorial Park with Ricky Benoit, Chuck Benoit, Kyle Broussard, Cade Broussard, Richard Mobley, Mike Savoy, Gene Broussard, Mike Albrecht and Rodney Ames serving as pallbearers. Chris Savoy, Ben Savoy and Patrick Savoy will serve as honorary pallbearers. A Christian Vigil will be 5:00 p.m. with a gathering of her family and friends to follow until 7:00 p.m. Monday, October 20, 2008 at the Mortuary.
