John, I just learned about Opal's passing a few minutes ago. I saw the notice in today's Port Arthur News about the scholarship established in her name. That is a wonderful thing to do. I'm sure she would be very pleased. I can only imagine how difficult this has been for you. I'm sorry I didn't learn of her passing in time to attend the funeral. She was a wonderful woman, mother, and wife. She will be missed by many. I hope you are recovering. Love, Judy

I'm so sorry I'm finding out this information late. I don't live in the area anymore so it's hard to keep up. Mrs. Dixon was one of my teachers at Lamar and I truly enjoyed being in her class. She taught reading for elementary teachers. I'm so sorry to hear of this loss. I will keep the Dixon family in my prayers.
God Bless,

I just wanted you to know that I am so sorry for your loss and enjoyed meeting your sister and getting to know her before she passed. She was a beautiful person and so kind just like you. You and the rest of the family will be in my prayers.
