Every time I think about Anna Mae I see her smile. I remember when I was just a little girl growing up and Jimmie Ann and I being best friends how nice Anna May and Jimmie always treated me. I loved to eat there. The food was always so good and there were always so many people around in the kitchen laughing and enjoying themselves. It was always warm and welcoming.
Anna May always made me feel so special as a hairdresser too. She swore no one could cut her hair as good as I could. Compliments like that always brightened my day. I tried to tell her it was because she had such beautiful hair that it made it easy to style. I remember her getting so sleepy while I was cutting her hair. She would always tell me how relaxing it was and just how much she enjoyed it.
I have so many fond memories of Annie and her family from childhood on.
You children were blessed to have such a loving and caring family and the closeness you all shared was at times enviable. I hope you pass on the love and memories of those days to each other and your families, memories that will live on in our lives forever. I pray that the love and sharing and caring will go on for generations in your families as a legacy from you parents.

Love,
Laura Lea

Hedy, Jimmie Ann, Susan, and Cindy,

I was so saddened to hear of your great loss. No matter when it occurs, it is alwasy so hard to lose your mom or dad. You feel like such a special part of your beloved past is gone.
However, with the love and support of our families we do go on. Your Mom was such a very special lady. I, also, vividly remember all the joyful, fun time we had as children and young adults . We alwasy felt so welcome in your home.
Bobby, I , and our family wish you the best and send our love and prayers of comfort and peace to all of you and your beautiful families whom I enjoyed meeting on Saturday. Good to see all of you again!
Love,
Linda
