Arline Kohler Rouse
Arline Kohler Rouse, 87, of Austin died Thursday, March 4, 2004 at Monte Siesta.
A native of Percilla, Texas, Arline lived most of her life in Beaumont. She was a successful businesswoman, first as an insurance agent and later as a real estate agent in Beaumont, Houston and Tomball.
Arline is survived by her son, Mike Kohler and his wife Wanda of Austin; daughter-in-law, Beverly Kohler of Beaumont; grandchildren, Stephanie Glona of Houston and Paul Kohler of Beaumont; great-granddaughter, Lorna Herff of Houston; and many nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her parents; her brother; husbands, Paul Kohler and Charles Rouse; sons, John Paul Kohler, Jr., and Dr. Dan Kohler; daughter, Hilda Arlene Kohler; and granddaughter, Melissa Shanklin.
Funeral Services will be 11:00 AM Monday, March 8, 2004 at Broussard’s, 2000 McFaddin, Beaumont followed by burial at Oak Bluff Cemetery. A gathering of family and friends will be from 5:00 until 7:00 PM Sunday evening, March 7, 2004 at the mortuary.
