Charlie Walker, 46, of Beaumont, died Saturday, September 27, 2008 at Christus Hospital St. Elizabeth in Beaumont.
A native of Houston and resident of the Beaumont area since the mid 1990’s, Charlie owned Walker Tree’s and Firewood. He enjoyed being around his family, friends, and especially loved spending time with his son, Casey. Charlie was an avid outdoorsman and was a big fan of the Houston Rockets, Astros and Texans.
Survivors include his wife, Sheila Walker; son, Casey Walker both of Beaumont; daughter, Jade Walker of Houston; father-in-law and mother-in-law, Jerry and Sharon Oelsen of China; brother and sister-in-law, Hadley and Melinda Cohen of Beaumont; sister and brother-in-law, Lisa and Sean Johnson of Beaumont; nieces and nephews, Ryne, Laurie and Christine Cohen, Lauren and Jonathan Ralph all of Beaumont; great nephew, Kobee Cohen of Beaumont; and cousins, Emily and Lilly Roberts of Mexia.
His mother, Irma Lisa Scalise preceded him in death.
His memorial service will be 6:00 p.m. Wednesday, October 1, 2008 at Broussard’s, 1605 North Major Drive, Beaumont. Cremation arrangements are under the direction of Broussard’s.
